Manchester United 2-3 Brighton & Hove Albion

Fleetwood Town 1-0 Sheffield United
A 57th-minute Rhys Norrington-Davies own goal sent Fleetwood Town into the fourth round for the first time in their history. The League Two side are now unbeaten in nine matches in all competitions and have been rewarded with a home tie against Premier League champions Arsenal.
Leeds United 4-1 Newcastle United
Leeds dismantled Newcastle at Elland Road on Monday, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin leading the line and the hosts climbing into the top three. The result gave Leeds early momentum before their midweek cup defeat at Chelsea.
Middlesbrough 2-2 Millwall
Middlesbrough appeared to be heading towards a damaging home defeat after falling two goals behind. Amario Cozier-Duberry and Will Lankshear brought Boro level, but the missed opportunity to go top of the Championship will remain the main talking point.
Bristol City 0-1 Lincoln City
Freddie Draper’s 53rd-minute winner took Lincoln City up to eighth and deepened Bristol City’s early-season troubles. Lincoln were disciplined without the ball and made their key moment count.
Liverpool 3-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Dominik Szoboszlai's long-range strike settled the tie, while Tottenham at least ended their goal drought against Premier League opposition, despite their poor start continuing.
Arsenal 4-2 Ipswich Town
Teenager Max Dowman scored twice as Arsenal progressed at Portman Road.
Coventry City 1-3 Aston Villa
Tammy Abraham scored twice on his first start of the season, with two of Aston Villa’s goals arriving from corners. Victor Torp’s free-kick was Coventry’s consolation, but the defeat was their fifth in six matches in all competitions.
Everton 1-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Substitute Charly Alcaraz scored the 80th-minute winner only three minutes after coming on. Alcaraz had played just 14 minutes all season before making the decisive contribution.
